Evan L'Roy is a native Texan photojournalist, currently living near Monteplier, Vermont. He is available for assignments across the northeast.

He graduated from The University of Texas in Austin in 2021, with degrees in Journalism and Radio/Television/Film. In 2022-23, he worked as a photojournalist for The Texas Tribune as a Poynter-Koch fellow, where he specialized in long-form visual projects, including investigative partnerships with the Washington Post. Prior to that position, Evan also worked at the Tribune as a contracted associate photo editor and the Spring 2021 photo fellow.

Prior to working primarily as a photojournalist, Evan participated in numerous commercial and narrative sets as a Director of Photography, camera assistant, and in Grip & Electric departments.

When he is not photographing, you can expect to find him falling off large rocks or reading science fiction comics. He is available for assignments, and his Honda gets pretty good mileage, so he is willing to travel.
